Stable Wines is the latest opening from the team behind Goodbye Horses and The Dreamery, bringing a new wine shop and bar to a quiet spot off Essex Road. The ground-floor shop focuses on natural wines and features an oak counter made from the same tree as the bar in Goodbye Horses. Downstairs, a former bank vault has been transformed into a candlelit cellar with a speakeasy-meets-medieval feel, creating a memorable setting for drinks.
