The historic Granary Square lies by Regent's Canal, in the heart of King's Cross. Its main attraction are undoubtedly the more than 1,000 choreographed fountains that are individually controlled and lit. Children can frolic in the water while parents watch over them from one of the surrounding cafés. In summer, the canalside steps are carpeted in green and a big screen is set up on the opposite bank, playing all sorts of films and live sports events.
