Where to watch Wimbledon in London

All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club

Tennis mecca

If you manage to get one of the highly desirable tickets in presale, congratulations, the doors to tennis heaven are open – enter and watch all the action at the historic grounds in person. If you don't have a ticket, it's the famous Queue for you. Wimbledon is one of the few major sports events where you can buy premium tickets on the day, and for some, the Queue is as much a part of the experience as the tennis itself, with its own rules and regulations.

Wimbledon Piazza

Technically still counts

It's not quite THE Wimbledon, but it does come without a wallet-busting price tag while still being close enough to the action to get at least a taste of the atmosphere. A big screen and deckchairs are set up on Wimbledon Piazza, and refreshments are available from the various dining and drinking outlets in the neighbourhood. There's no queueing to get in, either.

Wimbledon in Covent Garden

Front row at the Garden

World-famous Covent Garden Market is a popular leisure destination in its own right, but they're taking things further for Wimbledon screenings. You can sit back and watch the centre-court drama on the iconic Piazza itself, with Wimbledon-inspired dining guaranteed at the area's many eateries, including the traditional strawberries and cream.

Canary Wharf Summer Screens

Group watch in Canary Wharf

In summer, Canary Wharf sets up big screens in Canada Square Park, screening the season's most exciting sports events, including the Wimbledon Championships. Entry is free, and you can grab a picnic from the nearby Waitrose. Refreshments are available from The Grandstand Bar as well, and there are numerous restaurants and bars in the surrounding area.

Everyman on the Canal

Canalside championship

In summer, King's Cross carpets the steps leading from Granary Square down to Regent's Canal, turning them into a comfy open-air lounge, and collaborates with Everyman Cinemas to set up a big screen on the opposite bank. Different films are screened here throughout summer, except during Wimbledon, when the screen is reserved for live matches. Sit back, gaze across the water, and watch the Wimbledon Championship in this unique location.

Ham Yard Hotel

An ace spot for a relaxed viewing

Ham Yard Hotel's Centre Court-Yard pop-up returns for Wimbledon 2026, showing every match live on a big LED screen with wireless headphone commentary, cocktails, and classic strawberries and cream. Set on a lush, floral terrace in the heart of London, the event features the limited-edition Wimbledon Cup No. 1 cocktail and homemade strawberries & cream ice cream.

The Village pub

The Dog & Fox is a refined pub in the heart of Wimbledon, offering lodging within easy walking distance of the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club. It gets quite busy during the Championships as it's a great spot to watch Wimbledon, in no small part due to the irresistible combination of pub hospitality, good food and drinks, pleasant outdoor spaces, and multiple screens broadcasting every stroke down the road. They also throw in fun special offers like tennis champagne brunch or live music.

St Katharine Docks

Screen on the Quay

This year, Central London's only marina has moved its annual big screen setup to Marble Quay, offering more space for its comfy deckchairs and an appropriately bougie backdrop with the marina's moored yachts. Benches and tables are available as well, so you can grab a takeaway from one of the nearby restaurants, sit back, and enjoy the action. Entry is free, and there are drinks vendors on hand as well.

Open House

Rock up to London's most famous park

Between 29 June and 9 July, the Hyde Park space that is reserved for the British Summer Time concert series will be open to the public and host all sorts of events, including screenings of Wimbledon 2026 matches. It's a great option for taking a break while sightseeing, resting your feet a bit as you catch some of the centre-court action.

Eccleston Yards

Proper Wimbledon vibes in Belgravia

Belgravia's charming courtyard Eccleston Yards is hosting open-air live screenings of the Wimbledon Tennis Championships this summer. You'll be able to relax in colourful deckchairs, grab refreshments at local eateries like the award-winning Jones Family Kitchen, and watch the Wimbledon action just minutes from Victoria Station.

The Alexandra

Rooftop beats & big screens

Beloved Wimbledon pub The Alexandra welcomes tennis fans to experience the tournament action on its vibrant "Alexfresco" open-air deck. This outdoor hub promises a lively celebration complete with acoustic sets and late-night club tracks spanning the tournament weekends, alongside promotional merchandise drops and free tasters. The dedicated sports lounge downstairs caters to multi-sport fans by broadcasting all the court drama and World Cup fixtures at the same time, while upstairs, the rooftop bar will be serving up fresh pizzas and cocktails until late.

Hammersmith Summer Festival

Wimbledon and movies

The 19th edition of the Hammersmith Summer Festival is once again taking place in Lyric Square next to Hammersmith Station. They'll be showing sports and films across six weeks, including Wimbledon, with free entry and deckchairs available as well.

Rooftop Cinema Club

The climactic finale

The popular Rooftop Cinema Club in Peckham is saving its match balls for the women's and men's finals, but they're adding a little extra to them. Their Wimbledon finals watch package features popcorn and a drink, as well as the striking views of the city skyline that are a major selling point of the rooftop locations.

Islington Square

Wimbledon in the North

From 29 June to 12 July, the Wimbledon screens are back in Islington Square. You can enjoy the tennis from comfy deck chairs or bring your own picnic blanket to relax on. There are plenty of food and drink options in the area to keep you watered and fed as you cheer your favourite players on, as well as a Wimbledon-themed market on weekends, featuring artisan stalls, gourmet street food, and refreshing drinks.

Strawberries & Screen

The final showdowns

From 10 to 12 July, Chelsea's high-end shopping destination Duke of York Square will show all of the action from the Men's Semis and the Men's and Women's Singles Finals on the green opposite the Saatchi Gallery. In addition to bookable VIP seating in the form of comfy deckchairs, the event will feature pop-up bars, as well as a Fine Food Market on Saturday. Mini tennis coaching for little ones will also be available.

Orion

Their favourite time of the year

The Orion team are transforming the front of their Wimbledon restaurant with vibrant floral and tennis-themed decor to celebrate the Wimbledon season, as well as launching a dedicated Wimbledon Specials Menu created in collaboration with Lanson Champagne. They also offer a daily morning brunch and curated courtside hampers for those heading to the grounds. Throughout the tournament, the restaurant will of course be broadcasting all the tennis action live on screens inside the restaurant.
