Trivia: Famous Victorian tightrope walker Charles Blondin is buried in Kensal Green Cemetery. In 1859, he walked across Niagara Falls and decided it wasn't challenging enough, so he completed the crossing another 300 times.

The oldest of London's Magnificent Seven cemeteries, Kensal Green Cemetery, was inspired by the famous Parisian Père Lachaise. The Grade I listed cemetery includes two conservation areas on its grounds and numerous mausoleums, tombs and smaller graves. Famous people laid to rest here include royals, Ingrid Bergman, Freddie Mercury, Charles Babbage, and Alan Rickman.
