An authentic Iranian hole-in-the-wall eatery, Berenjak boasts widespread acclaim for its freshly made mezze and kebabs. The Soho joint is snug and lively, so expect to rub shoulders with strangers as you sit behind the counter and watch the chefs prepare familiar dishes with creative twists. The creamy hummus, for example, is made from black chickpeas and just the thing for scooping up with the freshly baked flatbreads. There’s also limited pavement seating and some tables in the garden-styled room at the back.
