Bread Street Kitchen & Bar Limehouse

Part of infamous celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay's restaurant empire, Bread Street Kitchen & Bar Limehouse is located at a bend in the Thames River just a few minutes away from Canary Wharf, providing it with panoramic views of the water.

Formerly known as The Narrow, the restaurant takes full advantage of its scenic location, not just with a large outdoor terrace that hosts a barbecue during summer, but also with a bright conservatory. The floor-to-ceiling windows there flood it with light and offer sweeping views regardless of the season. In addition, there is an elegant boathouse-inspired interior with whitewashed walls and polished wood furnishings beneath a suspended longboat, where the whole family is welcome, including children and dogs.

The menu features reliable British staples such as fish 'n' chips, rib-eye steak and beef burger, with a touch of Mediterranean freshness in dishes such as burrata, baked spinach and ricotta cannelloni or Padron peppers. There is also a set lunch menu, as well as a menu for kids. On Sundays, the restaurant serves a classic British roast with all the trimmings, available in a vegan variant as well. You can complement your meal with a selection of fine wines from around the world, or with one of the house or classic cocktails mixed by the bar staff.

The various areas of this Grade II listed former dockmaster's house can also be hired for private events, from extended family roasts or business meetings to weddings.
