Bubala's vegetarian Middle Eastern feasts have been feeding the community in Spitalfields for quite some time now. The tasting menu at this snug, candlelit venue is exceptional, with old favourites and new constantly stealing the limelight. Expect to feast on the likes of halloumi with black seed honey, falafel and labneh, all vegetarian-friendly, of course.

    Bubala is one of my favourite places in London. The Spitalfields branch is really cosy and the food is always great - the things they do with vegetables are miraculous.
