Cocotte Shoreditch

Tucked inside Hoxton's buzzy square, you'll find Cocotte, a French farm-to-table restaurant offering healthier, homemade brunch options all made from the freshest, home-grown ingredients. The chicken served here is all free-range, and is brought over from Evron in the Loire Valley, and all of the sauces are also homemade.

Its location means that it's just a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of Old Street but, because it's tucked inside Hoxton Square, you can enjoy a quiet and peaceful lunch before branching out to some of Shoreditch's buzzier streets.

There's a separate weekend brunch menu served, offering brunch classics like organic acai bowls with homemade granola, and avocado on toast topped with toasted seeds. There are also some more adventurous options, like the sweet chilli-based chicken (marinated for 24 hours), served on freshly baked croissant waffles and drizzled with special sauce and a fried egg, and the eggs with truffled mushrooms, parmesan cream infused with rosemary all served with sourdough toast.

When it comes to drinks, you have the option to add on bottomless prosecco or champagne for a reasonable surcharge, or you can go wild and mix and match refreshing cocktails from the playful drinks menu.
