Muse by Tom Aikens

Based in a converted Georgian mews house in Belgravia, Muse by Tom Aikens is a signature restaurant from acclaimed chef Tom Aikens. Opened in January 2020 and despite the inevitable challenges it soon faced, this fine dining restaurant was quickly awarded its first Michelin star and was lauded by critics. The goal is to take diners on a culinary journey, inspired by Aikens' memories, personal life, and career.

The interior is glitzy with marble counters and plush seating. If you're after an exclusive dining experience then this place is a great option. It has two counters for chef's table experiences, as well as private and semi-private spaces for bigger groups.

Dining at Muse centres on tasting menus. A light menu is available for lunch but you can go for the full version if you prefer. Vegetarian menus are available too and the restaurant can cater for other dietary needs if informed at the point of booking. Dishes are seasonal, with carefully sourced ingredients from specially selected suppliers. Expect sophisticated plates like langoustine with pork fat and burnt apple, lamb with pea and aubergine, and strawberry with black sesame and shiso. Every dish is well-considered and presented elegantly. Cocktails and beer are served and there's a considerable wine selection. Some vintages are served by the glass and you can choose optional wine pairings for your meal.
