The Culpeper

Many locals know The Culpeper as a quintessential East London pub with hotel rooms, but at the top is a wonderful rooftop that certainly shouldn't be overlooked. The space is used for entertaining, but the guys at The Culpeper also grow their own vegetables and plants, which are later harvested for use in the food and drinks served here at the first-floor restaurant. Enjoy the rooftop set lunch menu (veggie options available) and sip on cocktails topped off with a garnish grown in the very vegetable patches only a few steps from your seat.

This venue is four floors of fun – the ground floor houses the old boozer where you can sink a pint or two, but on the second floor, you'll find four cosy rooms for guests to get a good night's sleep, decorated in a minimal style with preserved fireplaces and small bathrooms with powerful rain showers.
