Get a taste of the glorious British countryside at this sustainable farm-to-fork restaurant, located moments from Notting Hill Gate station. It's part of the Local & Wild group that was launched by the Gladwin Brothers Richard, Oliver and Gregory, who all bring something different to the table (quite literally) - one is a farmer, one a chef, and the third is a restaurateur.
The Gladwin Brothers' restaurants celebrate British cooking and ingredients in all of their glory. The Shed is one of their projects and aims to bring an authentic taste of the Sussex countryside to the streets of London.
The menu is hyper-seasonal whilst trying to ensure that zero waste is at the centre of everything they do. The Local & Wild tasting menu takes the guest through a gastronomical journey of modern British cookery, and the à la carte menu focuses on wild, foraged and locally grown produce all sourced from the family farm in Sussex. Dishes include things like Sussex beef sirloin with celeriac remoulade and oyster mushrooms, and English asparagus served with a duck egg and hazelnut mayo.
