BISe

BISe (pronounced biz) is an abbreviation of bisous - kiss in French. And that's exactly the feeling they want to create at the restaurant: intimate, international and inviting. You'll find an atmospheric restaurant, wine bar and cocktail bar all under one roof. 

Come in for lunch, dinner, a glass of carefully selected wine or a cocktail in Bar Bisous.. At BISe the doors are always open for an unpretentious drink or meal in warm, welcoming surroundings.  

The dining room serves a daily lunch special, often classic Swedish homecooking, with a special twist and influences from all over the world. Choose from meat, vegetarian and vegan options. In the evenings they change the menu so you can choose between three starters, three main courses and three desserts. Just like at lunch, the dinner menu is globally influenced, but with an emphasis on southern European cuisine. 

But it's not all about food at BISe; they're passionate about drinks here too, not least good wine. So much so that, according to them, they cry a little inside when wine is divided up into categories, such as natural or unnatural, conventional or unconventional or modern or classic. They don't believe those definitions say anything about the actual quality of the wine. Instead they focus on small-scale wine producers who have a clear vision of how they want to grow their vines without destroying the soil for the next generation; wines that tell a story about terroir and craftsmanship. 

Bar Bisou
The restaurant also has a cocktail bar called Bar Bisou. Head bartender Mikael Melzer Nilsson has created a cocktail list here where simple creations make way for experimental ones. Many of the ingredients that find their way into your glass come from the gardens of Malmö and can be combined with top quality spirits from all over the world.
