My birthday was on March 6 and I planned to celebrate my birthday at the Royal Swedish Opera Festival. I booked a table for 7 people. We got the worst table that was close to the entrance. After I have talked to the staff, we got to sit in another table in the corridor between the large halls even though 75% of the rest orange was empty. ( a Wednesday evening ). Then I thought that maybe it is booked and couldn't get a better seat. We had poor visibility and a strange environment in the corridor, it felt stressed that staff walked past us all the time. I was sorry, that's not how I'm going to celebrate my day. Waitress was unpleasant, not a friendly memory. She refused to remove the napkins and was instructed that she did not see us when we wanted to order. We left at 22.00 when it was time to close, the nice table has been empty all evening while we had to sit in the hallway. I don't know what they thought but I will DEFINITELY NOT come any more! I'm sorry I've chosen this place! For that money, you could get significantly better service. The food was good. Hope that someone who administers this place reads this and works with staff on how to treat guests. Gives a bad grade.
