Sightseeing in Gothenburg on land and sea with an amphibious bus 

Hop aboard what appears to be a relatively normal bus parked outside the Stora Teatern. For 55 minutes, you'll experience Gothenburg's main attractions both from land and water as the bus suddenly heads out into the river.

At first glance, it may look like a regular sightseeing bus, but not long after setting off, the bus travels from land to water, much to the delight of passengers. This is a fun and different way to see Gothenburg.

The tour passes both well-known attractions and offers new, exciting facts. Some of the classic Gothenburg attraction you'll pass during the ride are Poseidon, Sjömanshustrun and Feskekôrka, along with plenty of other spots during the almost hour-long trip.

One of the highlights is when the apparently ordinary bus turns off the road at Älvsborgsbron and drives into the water to great cheers. The tour then continues from the water in the bus, which has now been transformed into a boat. The activity is just as fun for adults as it is for children – as the thousands of guests who ride the bus every year can attest.

Tickets can be purchased online or on the bus, and anyone over the age of three is welcome to join. The tour starts outside the Stora Teatern and lasts 55 minutes. The guide is live and mainly in English.

You can also rent out the amphibian bus as a unique transport or to experience the adventure with friends, colleagues and family. Experienced captains, sailors and guides will take you safely and securely on land and in the water. There are two buses in Gothenburg with a total of 88 seats.
