This listed building houses everything from a dining club to a kitchen for cooking events and a dining room that can be booked for long business lunches. You can arrange interactive cooking evenings with colleagues, friends and family, among other events.

Ankarsmedjan Social is housed in a beautiful 18th century stone building in the Majorna neighbourhood. The cookery studio is run by the restaurateur quartet behind Matklubben Huggorm dining club, who have worked at restaurants such as Sjömagasinet, Akvavit in New York and the Swedish embassy in Belgrade. Ankarsmedjan Social has a restaurant open by appointment, a cookery studio and a restaurant for lunch, events and interactive dinner experiences with their chefs.

Matklubben Huggorm dining club is a regular fixture, with lunches, dinners and parties. The club often has a theme and sometimes guest chefs. If you want to organise your own event, you can hire out the entire restaurant for 10-65 people and be served food and drinks. Otherwise their cookery evenings are ideal for client meetings, teambuilding events and private parties.

One Friday a fortnight they serve a three-course lunch for anyone who wants to round off the week in Ankarsmedjan's atmospheric surroundings. Culinary inspiration comes mainly from Scandinavia and the Continent.
