Italian influences flow at this neighbourhood restaurant located on Linné. Head to Bongo Kök & Bar for a home-style lunch, Mediterranean dinner or after-work drinks with a lively atmosphere.
Bongo calls itself “a slightly fancier neighbourhood restaurant”, with white-tiled walls, curling ivy on the ceiling and large windows that draw in both guests and passers-by. The idea here is that you should be able to come and enjoy yourself just as you are.
With a passion for Italian cuisine, the team in the kitchen serves the kind of food they themselves like to eat. At lunchtime, the menu lists the day's meat, fish and vegetarian dishes, while in the evening it switches to an à la carte menu with Mediterranean dishes such as pasta, fish and meat in various forms. In between, there's a happy hour, and a couple of hours later things get livelier, often with guest DJs who raise the mood.
Behind the large bar, creativity flows freely, in the form of cocktails with elements of everything from fruit and herbs to fire. There's also a selection of wine, bubbly and beer, which can be combined with both a slice of pizza and a three-course feast. At Bongo Bar, every opportunity, both large and small, is taken to celebrate life.

Skyltar utanför med finpizza och öl. Pizzan höll pinsamt låg standard. Cognacmedwurst- liknande korv på en pizza som är beskriven som Salami samt Bresaola (den sistnämnda fanns ej på pizzan). Degen kändes som en köpt deg från valfri matbutik...
