The Gothenburg branch of the classic Hard Rock Cafe restaurant chain is in the middle of Avenyn and boasts three floors. Tuck into American dishes such as hamburgers, drink cocktails, play shuffleboard and take part in various events. In true Hard Rock style, the decor is full of electric guitars, stage costumes and other souvenirs.

The regularly updated calendar is packed with activities such as live matches and guest artists. Every Friday there's a happy hour to celebrate the weekend and later on the nightclub kicks off. You can also gather together a group of friends and play shuffleboard on one of the many bookable Grand Champion tables.

The menu consists of dishes from the USA including classics such as steak burgers, club sandwich, ribs and milkshakes. For younger guests there's a separate kids' menu with hamburgers and other popular options. They also serve American flavours at lunchtime, such as tacos and burgers.

Hard Rock's broad selection draws in an equally broad crowd, from business guests to families and groups of friends. During the summer months the outdoor dining terrace is one of Avenyn's most popular watering holes.
