This modern trattoria in Gothenburg's Stora Saluhallen indoor food hall is the new addition to the La Gondola family of restaurants. Eat rustic dishes inspired by the cuisine of Tuscany, Piedmont and Calabria, paired with rich, rounded Italian red wines. Relax with lunch or a traditional long, cosy dinner with your nearest and dearest - or meet up with friends for an aperitivo after work.
La Piccola Gondola is inside the Stora Saluhallen food market in central Gothenburg, with large windows facing out towards lively Kungstorget. During the warmer months of the year you can grab a San Pellegrino or a glass of wine in the restaurant's glassed-in outdoor serving area and watch the world go by on the "piazza". Inside, the dining room has the same authentic Italian vibe, with rustic exposed brick walls, brass details and elegant shades of grey. Eat both lunch and dinner Italian-style.
In traditional Italian style, La Piccola Gondola's evening menu is divided up into antipasti, primi piatti, secondi piatti and dolce. Gather together your family and friends, kick off with a starter and then share a steaming pasta dish before it's time for the main course - choose from Italian meat and fish dishes such as grilled tuna.
