The Parlour

In the middle of Gothenburg's main boulevard, Avenyn, The Parlour serves food and drink in exclusive surroundings, with flavours influenced by Peruvian cuisine. The high stools in the glamorous restaurant provide a first class view over the city's most famous street as you sip a cocktail blended to match the cosmopolitan vibe. 

Not far from where Avenyn begins, guests are transported on a gastronomic journey to Peru, albeit with a modern twist and with influences from the nightclub aesthetics of the world's major metropolises. At The Parlour, everything from the decor to each dish on the menu has been chosen with meticulous attention to detail in order to create an authentic, intimate feel. 

The kitchen works with a flavour palette intended to create a culinary experience that's totally new and fresh. Chefs are inspired by the Nikkei fusion concept - incorporating flavours from both Peru and Japan. The two countries are both favourite foodie destinations and their rich culinary traditions can work extremely well together when done right. Peruvian sashimi, ceviche, tacos and grilled skewers are just some of the elements you'll find on the menu. Art on the walls, gold details and sophisticated lighting give The Parlour an elegant feel and the buzzy big city vibe extends throughout the restaurant and cocktail lounge. Mixology is the name of the game in the lounge and innovative cocktails are shaken and stirred by skilled bartenders.
