Omami is a small street food restaurant where Asian flavours take centre stage. They draw their inspiration inspiration from the vibrant streets of Vietnam, but also from Japan and other parts of Asia, and serve traditional flavours with a modern twist.
Fluffy baos, noodle salads, poké and bibimbap - these are some of the dishes that can be found at Omami on Linnégatan. The restaurant isn't much larger than a street food stall, but you can just as easily order takeaway as you can eat on site. The space is decorated in a minimalist style with light wood, black industrial lamps and kitschy Japanese illustrations on the walls. A passion for Southeast Asian street food has been combined with a curiosity about innovative recipes and inspiration from travels in Asia.
Influences come primarily from the lively streets of Vietnam, mixed with inherited recipes and traditional Asian flavours that are often served in a new way. With the motto “Simple street food, made without limits”, they cherish the classics without allowing themselves to be limited. The menu includes everything from small dishes like spring rolls, to crispy fries, baos, Vietnamese noodle salads and Japanese dishes. Eat on site or order takeaway or delivery.
