So, haven't we had enough of chains? Well, I think so. But when they are of a good standard, give a genuine feeling and serve good food, they can be worth a visit. Just like Restaurant V.
The room is large, but still gives a nice impression with the pizza oven in the center, open kitchen and relaxed décor. However, they will have problems if the room ever gets full, because it is one of the few things that there is to complain about - the service and all the dishes that are left on the tables.
Through a convenient app, we order four pizzas, one gluten-free and two salads. It all takes time, but the one who waits for something good... The crust of the pizzas is thin without being soggy and the base of the gluten-free pizza is crispy unlike many other gluten-free varieties. The toppings are both daring for those who wish, but also classic for those who are inclined in that direction - and very good! However, the burrata on the pizza is desired at room temperature - not ice cold.
The salads look quite small and boring, but appearances are deceiving. The cheese and chicken are generous and the flavors are good! Nothing new or exciting, but definitely good.
We leave the restaurant with the city's most luxurious pizza box with the leftovers. If you're going to impress someone, this is where you should order pizza - because they come in style (but who knows how much less you'd have to pay if the box was a good old fashioned pizza box...).
