25th January means it's Burns Night, celebrating the birthday of Robert (Rabbie) Burns, the national poet of Scotland who was born in 1759. Don't think that the partying is just limited to our friends in Scotland though – plenty of venues in London are putting on special menus and lively events to help mark the occasion in style. The Cadogan Arms, The George, and The Hound will host their annual Burns Night celebrations on 25 January, featuring a four-course Scottish menu curated in partnership with The Singleton Whisky. The event will include a live bagpiper, a recitation of Burns' “Address to a Haggis”, and a menu with highlights such as Lorne sausage toastie, hot smoked salmon, Highland Wagyu beef with whisky sauce, and a Scottish tipsy laird for dessert. The four-course experience includes a Singleton Whisky cocktail on arrival and a dram of Singleton 12yo, with a vegetarian option available as well.

A spectacular Burns Night week

Decked out in tartan, Boisdale has an unmistakably Scottish identity, so it's automatically an ideal place to celebrate Burns Night. Both venues are hosting a full week of celebrations, complete with live music, haggis, and all the rest. The festivities culminate on Saturday 25 January with a multiple-course Scottish tasting menu and the ceremonial address to the haggis.

Tickets are £110 per person, including the meal and a dram of The Macallan, with optional whisky cocktail pairings.

Studio Five

Burns Night with live ceilidh music

Celebrate Burns Night on Saturday 25 January at Studio Five in Wembley Park with a three-course Scottish menu and live traditional music by Rita Fernandes of the Sassenachs Ceilidh Band. The menu features smoky whiskey-cured salmon, haggis with neeps and tatties (or a vegetarian version), and a sticky toffee pudding with Jameson whiskey caramel sauce, all paired with expertly selected drinks.

The nose-to-tail dining restaurant in West Smithfield, Origin City, is crafting a special menu for Burns Night, highlighting its strong connection to Scottish produce and whiskies. The event begins early in the evening with a supper club-style service and a bespoke whisky cocktail upon arrival. Guests will enjoy a traditional four-course menu with an address to the haggis as part of the festivities.

The Blue Stoops

All things Scottish

The Blue Stoops will celebrate Burns Night with a menu featuring Scottish classics like haggis, neeps, and tatties. The bar has also expanded its Scotch selection and will open a rare bottle of Old Glen Grant for the occasion. This special evening will take place at the newly opened pub by the team behind Allsopp's Brewery.

Ode to a haggis

Yard Sale Pizza is bringing back its Burns Night special for the tenth year. From 23 to 27 January, you can order the Ode to a Haggis pizza at all locations (while supplies last), topped with Deeney's haggis, cavolo nero, black chilli chutney and fior di latte mozzarella on a classic tomato base. Veggie and vegan versions are available as well.
