This, ahem, humble eatery offers a fresh take on chef Angelo Sato's (Trinity, Story, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay …) tried-and-true solo venture. Instead of the previous head-to-tail chicken yakitori concept, the new version of Humble Chicken serves an eight-course tasting menu of Japanese food with European influences – miso-cured foie gras, for example, or grilled and slow-cooked short rib with lettuce. The snug venue is designed to provide a kitchen theatre experience, but also has limited outdoor seating.
