The owner asked for our menu choices beforehand as we were attending as a large group. Now all seated in the weirdest seating arrangement he wanted to take our orders! As a large group (20+) we wanted to make sure each table of four/five paid for that table. Nope, he wanted to put the bill on one tab & argued that's what 'he' wanted to do. Not sure he got the memo ' the customer is always right'. We are a large family that regularly go out as a group to eat in up & down the uk & found his mannerism quite rude not at all helpful. I have know idea how this restaurant gets five stars. Obviously people who don't eat Caribbean vegan food.🥴 or don't know how to cook. Jerk chicken tasteless & burnt. Oxtail vegan styled, awful taste. Curry, looked & tasted weird. The rice & peas, plantain was barely ok. Gosh! I didn't think you could ever have horrid apple crumble. Yep! you can from this restaurant. The alcoholic drinks taste watered down & if you want to taste the alcohol you'll need to at least double the shots. The actual restaurant itself is quite pleasant, but that no good if the service, food & attitude from this man spoilt our evening. But it was so off, we all laughed about it & we won't be going back.
