As far as I know, it's only Kometen that also offers this? The kitchen operates at a high level, with a focus on modern Sweden/Europe. They never serve any pretentious tasting menus - thank goodness! Ulf Wagner understands that it's the three-course French meal that counts. The staff is mature, they are there to stay and they are friendly and knowledgeable. The wine list is extensive with a focus on the old world and has a Francophile slant. Wagner's Bistro is Gothenburg's best decadent lunch option if you ask me. The evening is of course just as good. It costs a bit, but personally, I would rather eat ten takeout meals and have a premium wine lunch than eat ten standard lunches out. Do you feel the same? Do as I do, sit yourself at the bar after the office lunches have wrapped up around half two, chat with the staff or read something on your phone, enjoy three courses along with three matching glasses of wine and maybe a Negroni, let it take time and think that life is quite great!
