We went to the restaurant and asked for a table on the outdoor terrace. They said that only the dinner guests are allowed to sit there and then we said it's okay. She went and picked up the menus for us and was very upset about what we are allowed to do and how we should behave. I asked why she, the blonde waitress, was so on us, and she said that we seemed to be people you have to explain a lot to and if we even know Swedish even though I was born and raised in Sweden and have no problems with the language at all. I asked if there was something wrong with my Swedish language, she said mm no, but you seem to need the explanations? Looks? I asked if there was anything else she said no, I asked if we could sit down and then she said mm yes and went to the head waiter. We went and sat down and the head waiter came towards us and said that we had stolen the menus and just sat down. Stolen? It was the first and last time we were there and don't know where the menus are. I said that it is not true and then he pointed to our table and said this particular table is booked. We asked if we could sit somewhere else and the place was almost completely empty, then they said no, I asked why, then he just turned his back and walked away. I went after and asked why again and then he was quick to point out that he didn't have time for us as he was supposed to take care of his "Swedish" guests. I asked if I'm not a Swedish guest, then he said that no, it doesn't matter to him what origin we consider ourselves to be from. I said that it certainly matters and then he said no, your people are not welcome here, take your things and disappear from here. I got this on video. Never felt more offended and the fact that they so openly said things like this to us shows not only what kind of guests they have, but also that they were very proud and used to throwing out people who look like they came from the Middle East. All the employees were also only Swedes, which I only noticed when I was on my way out. We barely had time to sit down and were thrown out just as quickly. We didn't have time to do anything wrong or even get an idea of the place before they had decided that we weren't welcome. I said that I will write about this, then he encouraged us to do it. I deeply regret that I didn't point out the racism but unlike them and their prejudices, it didn't feel good to be rude to someone I don't know.
Extremely racist place
