My name is Heather and I’m a studied photographer, art director, and graphic designer by trade. I’m originally from the United States and moved to Stockholm Sweden about seven years ago (OMG, yes…seven!) I am proud to be a newly minted dual Swedish-American citizen. I live here with my fiancé, Henrik, who is a native Swede and an architect.

I love to write about anything related to my lifestyle here in Sweden! I hope to share with you my reflections about both Swedish and American culture, my work in art and design, how I have become an unintentional international foodie and pretty decent home cook – at least according to Henrik. I also like to review restaurants and local places on occasion, talk about my (sometimes failed) attempts at health and wellness and provide tips from my savvy (but addictive) shopping habits. What's more, I'm getting married next July and we are planning a BIG American style wedding at a Swedish royal castle. So, I’m not gonna lie, that will probably pop up on occasion too. In any case, I will try my best to share with you everything I can about life here in Stockholm as a Slightly Swedish tjej.
