On the upper floor of Femman in Nordstan, the Paradox Museum is an interactive experience-led museum that challenges visitors' senses and perception of reality. Children and adults alike can stimulate their creativity and explore the playful world of paradoxes.
Paradox is ancient Greek for "contrary to expectations" or "unbelievable", and can mean "the opposite of common sense". That's exactly what awaits visitors to the museum - over 40 experiences that challenge common sense and play with your eyes. In the different rooms you'll find everything from optical illusions in the form of furniture that distorts your perspective to a spinning tunnel where the world twists and turns. Anyone who has dreamed of seeing themselves floating as weightlessly as an astronaut will have the chance to experience this in the museum's Zero Gravity Room, a sci-fi-inspired room where the laws of physics are defied. After the visit, you can take spectacular pictures from the different rooms home with you.
