Grönsakstorget, which used to be a rather forgotten corner of Gothenburg, has been given a new lease of life thanks to Pixbar. The street-style bar is constructed from two containers stacked on top of each other and clad with glass walls, and in the evenings the transparent boxy construction glows from the inside. Come by to meet up with friends and new acquaintances in the relaxed environment.
Pixbar, formerly called Pix Pintxos & Cocktails, is a welcoming spot for anyone who wants to hang out over cocktails and snacks into the evening. Two old containers have been transformed into an urban bar with a sunny outdoor area in the heart of Grönsakstorget. There's also a little terrace on the top floor where you can sit outdoors and enjoy a glass of wine.
The bar's central location makes it a handy option if you want to round off a meeting with colleagues or kickstart the evening with a drink before you head out into the city. Pixbar boasts internationally award-winning mixologists behind the counter. They also serve selected wines by the glass and bottle, mainly with an emphasis on Spanish wines, as well as beer on tap and by the bottle.

On a relatively small and limited space, this place really managed to cram an awful lot. Everything from a fully functioning and proper advanced kitchen, to a fully-stocked bar.
When I come here, I choose a location in front of the bar. Here you will find always an old or new friend. In addition, I like to keep track of what is going on inside the bar/kitchen, follow the work and talk with the staff. Always there is someone new pintxo or an awesome cocktail that must be tested.
Looking forward to summer, I know right here, is the Sun at almost all day!
Can really recommend the place for those of you who are on their way home from work, or for those of you who want to start the evening in a pleasant way.
