As the name suggests, inspiration comes primarily from Italy. Naturally, there are pasta dishes on the menu, which are written up on the blackboard and updated frequently.

This Italian cellar restaurant is what's known as an osteria in Italian, which usually means a smaller menu of traditional dishes and wines. Naturally, the menu includes pasta, including popular dishes such as cacio e pepe, carbonara and ravioli, ideal for accompanying with one of their Italian wines.

Centrale is a charming candlelit trattoria in Mölndal. They serve traditional homecooking, Italian-style, with an emphasis on simple flavours and seasonal ingredients. This picturesque cellar restaurant with red and white checked tablecloths has been serving pasta since the end of the Nineties. With the same Italian at the reins. The menu is long and comprehensive and if you're just here for the pasta there are plenty of variations to choose from. Joe Farelli's takes its influences from New York, in particular the Little Italy neighbourhood. They've been serving Italian-American classics for decades, including pasta dishes, of course. Their pasta is always made fresh and in variations with and without meat and seafood. 

Drop by Taverna Averna for classic, organic bistro dishes. They don't serve many pasta dishes but the ones they do serve are real crowd-pleasers. The restaurant's pasta vongole is a particular favourite. If you prefer your dish extra seasoned, just ask for an extra grind of the peppar mill.
