On Skanstorget, on the edge of charming Haga, you'll find a small hangout that draws in pizza enthusiasts from various corners of Gothenburg. Bar Minimal was founded by a group of pizza aficionados who created their version of a neighbourhood bistro. Pizzas are baked with top quality ingredients in a wood-fired oven.
Despite its small-scale name, the gang at Bar Minimal invests in great taste experiences - but in a relaxed format. The menu revolves around pizza baked in the wood-fired oven and topped with both classic and slightly more unexpected ingredients. The foundation is sustainable raw materials which, wherever possible, are bought from selected producers from the local area. If you want to complement the pizza with something small, there are a couple of smaller dishes to choose from, and if you want a sweet ending, don't miss the soft ice cream, which is often topped with chocolate sauce, nuts and other goodies.
A classic bistro feel with patterned floors, simple wooden furniture and wine bottles is the order of the day. The relaxed atmosphere makes it ideal for a laid-back dinner or a post-work beer and a few snacks.
