Haga bistro passionate about pizza and wine

On Skanstorget, on the edge of charming Haga, you'll find a small hangout that draws in pizza and wine enthusiasts from various corners of Gothenburg. Bar Minimal was founded by a group of pizza aficionados who created their version of a neighbourhood bistro. Pizzas are baked with top quality ingredients and then served with carefully selected drinks. 

Despite its small-scale name, the gang at Bar Minimal invests in great taste experiences - but in a relaxed format. The menu revolves around pizza baked in the wood-fired oven and topped with both classic and slightly more unexpected ingredients. The foundation is sustainable raw materials which, wherever possible, are bought from selected producers from the local area. If you want to complement the pizza with something small, there are a couple of smaller dishes to choose from, and if you want a sweet ending, don't miss the soft ice cream, which is often topped with chocolate sauce, nuts and other goodies. 

Pizza isn't the only thing in the spotlight at Bar Minimal - they're also passionate about artisanal drinks in general, and natural wine in particular. The wine list is updated regularly, often with unusual wines that you probably haven't come across before. If you prefer beer or perhaps something non-alcoholic, that's also available. The interest in wine is reflected in the interiors, which are classic bistro style with a patterned floor, simple wooden furniture and wine bottles that adorn every corner of the room. The relaxed atmosphere makes for an inviting spot to hang out for dinner, or a post-work glass of wine and some snacks.
