In a former bank building, Skanshof is now a meeting place for food, drink, art and music. Skanshof has a view of Skansen Kronan and spreads over four floors with an outdoor terrace on the sidewalk, a balcony and a roof terrace with a bar. From here, a staircase leads up to Skanshofparken, where there's even more seating.
Bistro, bar, art and culture are the four cornerstones of Skanshof, a lively restaurant and bar where guests flock to have dinner or weekend brunch, have a drink at the bar or party with loved ones when things get lively on Fridays and Saturdays with DJs and cocktails.
The menu lists dishes that make life feel wonderful, from slurpy oysters to French-Swedish bistro classics in larger and smaller formats. In other words, there's every opportunity here to shape your visit just the way you want. A drink and something small to eat with a friend at the bar? A big family slap-up dinner? A brunch with the girlfriends? Everything is possible – even the dog has his own menu.
In the summer, the place comes even more alive, with outdoor seating on all four floors, including a leafy outdoor seating area at the top of the park with a beautiful view. Play boules here or just sit back with a refreshing drink on a sunbed next to the pool.
