“Hungry in, happy out” is the motto at Slice & Smash, which is run by a duo with a great passion for flavours, ingredients and community. Crispy pizzas and juicy burgers prepared according to the smash method are the order of the day here.
The restaurant, in Örgryte on the outskirts of Gothenburg, was founded by two best friends with a shared love of food and socialising. With Slice & Smash, they've combined their two favourites: pizza and smash burgers. They serve them in a simple but pleasant place with plenty of natural light and a convivial atmosphere, where everyone should feel welcome and at home, at lunch as well as dinner. Choose between eating on site, getting takeaway or ordering home.
The menu includes both familiar and own flavours, and all food is prepared with ingredients that the chefs are proud of. Burgers are made from prime rib and according to the smash technique, which gives an extra juicy burger with a crispy surface. “Crispy” is also a word that describes the pizzas, which have a thin base and generous toppings. There are also a couple of fried snacks such as mozzarella sticks and fries available to order. Whether you prefer meat or vegetarian, you'll find something to suit your taste on the menu.
