The Wallace Collection in Marylebone has been named the world's number one hidden gem in the rankings, beating off competition from unusual sites in places like Paris and Amsterdam. Rankings were determined by looking at each place's reviews on TripAdvisor. The gallery has more than 6,500 reviews on TripAdvisor, with an overall score of 4.5 and well over 500 reviewers describing it as a hidden gem.
Visit for yourself and you can see thousands of paintings by some major names like Titian, Rubens, Gainsborough, and Velázquez.
