East London arts venue Rich Mix is hosting the inaugural edition of a new international arts festival celebrating audiovisual art. Lightsounds Fest will take place between 20th and 22nd July and highlights audiovisual art as a medium in its own right. With a mixture of performances, concerts, installations, and live painting, there's something for every art fan to enjoy here.
The festival will include acoustic and electronic performances as well as the use of new innovations and traditional instruments. The event aims to explore the art form in its current state, and increase exposure to it, so that it can continue to progress into the future. Amongst the events going on there are artist's talks, audiovisual jam sessions, and unique concerts.
