It's the time of year again that everybody in London loves. The sunshine is making an appearance, the days are getting longer, and rooftop bars are finally re-opening their doors for another season. Nothing beats the sunshine in the city with a spritz in hand, all-round good vibes, and rooftop bars, and to commemorate the occasion, a brand new spot has opened on the rooftop of John Lewis' historic flagship store on Oxford Street, 1864 Rooftop Bar & Kitchen.

It's called 1864 Rooftop Bar & Kitchen, in honour of the year John Lewis & Partners was founded and is a collaboration with Benugo, known for its top-tier hospitality.

The bar boasts panoramic views of the capital and serves refreshing cocktails and seasonal small plates above the busy shoppers of Oxford Street. It's big enough to seat 200 people and is kitted out with private greenhouse-style booths and lush foliage. Expect cocktails inspired by their herb garden and a menu of tasty food, like lobster rolls with pickled cucumber and seaweed tempura monkfish with wild garlic emulsion. It's the perfect summer hangout for catching up with friends.
