A new cocktail bar has just opened in the Rosewood Building in Hackney, and it's from the masterminds behind the legendary Alcotraz and Moonshine Saloon bars, both of which offer one-of-a-kind immersive drinking experiences in the heart of the city.

The new bar Avora draws on all of the senses and takes you on a gripping adventure through a hard-to-forget storyline, incredible theatrical sets, unique cocktails and a cast of talented actors. You'll start your journey at a spot called ‘Roscorp Laboratories', where you'll be briefed on a mission ahead of entering the bar. Dressed head to toe in a jumpsuit, you'll be sent on a mission to forage secret elixirs and ingredients for three cocktails. But it's not all bliss; as time goes on, you'll be faced with challenges and have to make the tricky decision to rebel and protect the planet or support the plans of a billionaire.

The team behind the bar have partnered with UK environmental organisation Ecologi to craft a storyline that is reflective of the Earth's climate crisis.

Book over on their website. You'll find Avora at Unit 5C, Rosewood Building (Hackney Rd, London, E2 8GY, London)
