British Art Fair, the only fair dedicated to Modern and Contemporary British art, takes place at Saatchi Gallery in the heart of London's vibrant Chelsea this September.
Promoting British art since 1988, the fair has grown from its Modern British roots to become a showcase for excellence in homegrown art from the mid-20th century right up to today. Works by Britain's most famous artists including Frank Auerbach, Banksy, John Craxton, Tracey Emin, Terry Frost, Barbara Hepworth, Damien Hirst, Ivon Hitchens, David Hockney, Henry Moore, John Piper, Bridget Riley, William Scott and many more are shown by over 80 of the UK's leading dealers.
SOLO Contemporary promotes the work of Britain's mid-career and emerging artists, and this year sees the launch of “PIVOTAL: Digitalism,” a section dedicated to promoting new digital art coming from the UK. The work of the great British modernist Wilhelmina Barns-Graham (1912-2004) is celebrated in a special exhibition on the second floor.
British Art Fair is a friendly fair where visitors enjoy the very best painting, drawing, photography, sculpture and ceramics, elegantly installed throughout Saatchi Gallery's museum-style spaces.
