Camden Market is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a summer-long series of events open to all. Over the next three months, they'll commemorate this half-a-century milestone via various pop-up events spanning art, fashion, music, and culture, many of which are free to the public. The festivities will run from 30 June – 28 August.
To kick things off South Asian Heritage Month, the Kings Cross Brunswick Neighbourhood Association and Camden Mela team are offering a diverse programme featuring community arts, health advice, food, children's activities, and music. On Sunday, London City Voices will sing a blend of pop favourites, 90s classics, and musical theatre hits.
Every week following that, a range of events will take place, from LEGO workshops and theatre shows to Bollywood dances and much more. The full brochure of events taking place each week is available on their website.
