Celebrate National Prosecco Day with bottomless booze and Italian food

It's an important day on 13th August – National Prosecco Day. And if you're (quite rightly) thinking that the best way to celebrate this special occasion is by downing loads of fizz, you'll be happy to know there's a restaurant in Kensington that agrees. For one day only, Como Garden in Kensington High Street is offering free unlimited prosecco for 90 minutes with every meal purchased.

Inspired by Lake Como, this romantic restaurant is brimming with botanicals and has an outside terrace as well. Food is all about small dishes to share, with everything on the menu described as a small or medium bite. Amongst the options are fresh pasta, antipasti, and meat and seafood choices like calamari, meatballs, and steak tartare. Needless to say, prosecco is the ideal accompaniment to the food on offer but cocktails, beers, spirits, and non-sparkling wines are also available.

Visit the restaurant between 12 and 5pm on the day to enjoy Italian small plates and all the bubbles you can drink. The offer is available for advance bookings as well as walk-in customers, and sounds to us like the ideal way to fight off the Sunday scaries.
