Vulvaplicity is a queer-led platform that delves into feminism, gender, sexuality, and body politics, using creative expression to challenge heteronormative and cis-normative norms and to address often taboo subjects. The platform hosts events that bring together artists from various disciplines to showcase their work on these themes, and one such event is coming up at the Vagina Museum this weekend.
Saturday's Vulvaplicity showcase at the Vagina Museum features a varied line-up including spoken word/movement artist S-bars, rising drag artist Bobbie Twaddle, award-winning burlesque queen Turkish D'Light, Violet Theatre, a duo who shares a passion for spoken word and autobiographical works, the eternally curious Hanna Hirst, whose work explores sexuality, aging, and grief, movement artists Elvin and Marcello, and designer and vulva diversity artist Ella Clancy. The event will be hosted by comedian Alyssa Virji.
Vulvaplicity will take place at the Vagina Museum on Saturday 27 April, with tickets starting at £6. You can find out more and book yours here.
