Socca, a French Mediterranean bistro that opened a year ago in Mayfair, is celebrating its first birthday by introducing a meticulously curated afternoon tea experience.
The intimate restaurant Socca is a vibrant spot featuring playful murals and artwork. Backed by Claude Bosi, it represents the multi-Michelin-starred chef's tribute to Provençal cuisine and seasonality, and it's bringing a touch of that to its afternoon tea as well.
The L'Amour du Thé afternoon tea service brings together French and British influences in a flavourful tapestry highlighting the culinary traditions of both countries. The savoury offering of the afternoon tea menu include a prawn & lobster roll, a crab quiche, a duck rillette finger sandwich, and a Welsh lamb croquette. On the sweet side of things, you'll be treated to desserts such as a chocolate chouquette and a lemon merengue pie. You can choose from a selection of teas and botanicals to go with the afternoon tea bites, or add a glass of champagne for a truly indulgent outing. A vegetarian version of L'Amour du Thé is offered with 48 hours' notice.
L'Amour du Thé launches at Socca on 14 February. It will be served from Monday to Saturday and set you back £35 per person. You can find out more about afternoon tea at Socca and book here.
