Edo Izakaya to open at last, serving hot cocktails, sushi tacos, and other delights

Edo Izakaya is a long-awaited Japanese restaurant from the team that brought traditional Japanese charcoal grilling to Soho at Robata.

Instead of charcoal grilling, however, Edo Izakaya in Old Street focuses on familiar Japanese delicacies such as sushi and other small plates. Larger dishes such as teriyaki soba, as well as an intriguing Japanese-inspired take on tacos are also served here.

The drinks at this new restaurant are another highlight, with Edo Izakaya boasting an exquisite sake selection, including sparkling sake and even a sake flight. Sake is also one of the key ingredients of the cocktails served here – the signature hot cocktails are definitely something we're keeping our eyes on as the winter weather rolls in.

First announced about a year ago, Edo Izakaya is now finally ready to open. In celebration of this momentous occasion, the Shoreditch restaurant is pleased to extend an exclusive offer to their guests during the opening week, from Tuesday, 10 October to Monday, 16 October. During this period, guests will enjoy an extraordinary 50% discount on their total bill, making this an excellent opportunity to experience the richness and diversity of Japanese cuisine at Edo Izakaya.
