The Idler Festival at Fenton House in Hampstead is a festival of creativity and culture featuring some great comedians, writers, musicians, and philosophers. The festival will take over Fenton House, a stunning 17th-century mansion tucked away in Hampstead, usually managed by the National Trust.

Over three days, you can enjoy talks from former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams on the Seven Deadly Sins, zoologist and author Lucy Cooke on the misunderstood sloth, and novelist Zadie Smith discussing her life and work, among many others. You'll likely find yourself quite busy, as the lineup of speakers also includes Dominic West, Zadie Smith, Charlie Higson, Rowan Williams, Tim Key, Salena Godden, Rosie Holt, and DJ Paulette.

Being The Idler, you can also expect activities like beekeeping, ukulele sessions, dancing, bibliotherapy, agony aunts, foraging, walks, and ample time to relax.
