The Dram is a new multi-storey bar in Soho that comes from the owner of Milroy's of Soho and former Milroy's employees.

Situated in a 17th century Grade II-listed building in Soho's Denmark Street, The Dram looks to have everything you could hope for in a bar – starting with an additional bar. Yep, the new venue includes a ground-floor bar as well as a more intimate cocktail bar in the basement, where you'll be able to try newly developed concoctions from The Dram's on-site research and development lab. As if that weren't enough, there's also an outdoor terrace for lounging about in the sun.

As mentioned, The Dram is a venture by Martyn Simpson, the owner of renowned whisky specialists Milroy's of Soho, and Chris Tanner and Jack Wallis, drinks industry experts whose career includes stints at Milroy's as well. All this is to say that yes, of course The Dram will also have a whisky shop. Finally, if you prefer to do your drinking in private, there'll be a private pool room with a vending machine full of ready-to-drink cocktails.

The Dram is slated for opening in November, with an exact date still to be confirmed.
