Celebrate Valentine's Day this February half-term as Livat Hammersmith presents a fantastic line-up of free activities for both kids and adults. From kids crafting sessions to a Valentines draw-off for adults, the meeting place promises a week filled with love, creativity and memorable experiences for all ages.
Kids Crafting: Wooden Hearts
From Wednesday, February 14th to Friday, February 16th, between 1 pm and 5 pm, Livat invites children to participate in a special crafting session. Guided by an activity leader, children will use wooden hearts to draw and create their own personalised 'Love Hearts.' Encouraged to draw things they love and that are personal to them, this activity serves as a wonderful opportunity to teach children the valuable message of gratitude and reflection on things in their lives that bring them joy.
Valentines Draw-off: Love Through Art
For adults, Livat introduces the Adults Valentines Draw-off, taking place on Valentine's Day, February 14th, from 1:15 pm to 5 pm. This adult-focused drawing activity, led by professional illustrator Gizem, offers participants the chance to create unique portraits of their significant others or loved ones. Whether you're part of a couple or enjoying the single life, this workshop is all about spreading love through art. Participants will receive step-by-step guidance to create the best or funniest portraits, perfect for gifting or displaying in their homes. As an added bonus, this event is an excellent opportunity to explore IKEA's frame collection for showcasing your newfound masterpieces.
Livat encourages families to join in the arts and crafts, to celebrate love and creativity this Valentine's Day. Find more information here.
