This new springtime festival, Books in the Park, presents a lineup of author talks, scavenger hunts, guided walks, and writing workshops for adults and children, all centred around nature's influence on literature and community.

Breaking away from traditional venues, this new book festival takes place in Lewisham's scenic Beckenham Place Park and features authors like Claire Ratinon, Emilia Hart, Ben Jacob, Alex Falase-Koya, and comedian Isabel Losada; it promises a wholesome experience blending nature and literature in an insightful way. The diverse topics include courageous memoirs, debut fiction, and interactive activities for children while celebrating nature's ability to inspire, heal, and unite communities. Plus, the best bit? Entry is free.
