The Old Royal Naval College is a recognisable landmark is Greenwich and has lots of interesting features, not least London's answer to the Sistine Chapel, the spectacular Painted Hall. Now, for the first time ever, guests can have afternoon tea in these beautiful surroundings with a special event on Mother's Day.

On 10th March the Painted Hall will be closed to the public and open exclusively for a unique afternoon tea experience. Take your mum or take someone else to savour delicate sandwiches, fresh scones with strawberry preserve and Cornish clotted cream, and mouthwatering pastries and teacakes. Gluten-free and vegan options can be provided and a tea for children served with a milkshake is also offered. A selection of teas will be available and you can add a glass of prosecco and champagne to make the experience even more special.

As well as enjoying the atmospheric surroundings, there will be live music from a harp player to add to the ambience. There will be two sittings for tea on the day and booking in advance is essential. Reserve your spot now on the Old Royal Naval College's website.
