Inter-Song is an event exploring and celebrating classical music with Middle Eastern and South Asian languages. Experience classical music on 15th May in a local grassroots-run venue, Well Space Hackney E9, for an evening full of expression and a new experience of how classical music is performed.
Whether you're a classical music fan or not, this event is designed to bring people together and show the meeting between music, languages, and instruments, which connect through heritage, culture, voice, poetry and religions. Some languages you can expect are Urdu, Persian, Hindi and English; there will also be a composer playing a Persian instrument (kamancheh). Don't miss out on this opportunity to witness these emerging artists sharing their gifts and talents. The event is BYOB; however, no unmixed spirits are permitted.
