On the first weekend of July, the Yokimono Japanese Market will bring Japanese cuisine and culture to The Factory in Dalston.

The Japan-themed festival invites you explore traditional and contemporary Japanese food, culture, and arts and crafts over two days. The east London festival features a variety of stalls packed with artisan goods from Japan or handcrafted by Japanese artists in London, including ceramics, jewellery and accessories, artwork, books, lifestyle goods, and vintage clothing.

In addition to the retail goods, you'll be able to snack on Japanese food and sweets, including sushi, Japanese curry, and pastries. The festival will also showcase live demos and performances, such as a calligraphy workshop, a Japanese marching band, and a talk on kimono dressing.

Admission to the Yokimono Japanese Market is free. Check the website for the full programme.
